Bari is only the leaving point for many little wonderful town around. In 20 minutes by train you can get to Polignano a mare. The ticket costs only 5 euro for person.

Where to stay

You can book a room for 50-60 euros and you can stay in the town center. Breakfast is included but it only consists of one croissant and a coffee. Good luck in explaining that you need a latte:)

What to do

The city is very small so you can get from one point to another in 20 minutes.

You can wonder aroung this kind of beautiful streets.

You can notice that a lot of houses don t even close the doors and you can hear or see people cooking or chatting with neighbours. OF COURSE The funny question was – do people here? Do they?:))

What you eat

We ate at a small restaurant owned by an Italian family. The uncle was the chef, the boys were the waiters and the mother knew it all. Poorly bad English speakers but nice people.

The food was excellent calamari and octopus: exxxceeelleeent!

If you want to treat yourself there is a well known restaurant (you will find it advertised in all the guides) but the menu there is 90 euros. Oh yes, just for one person and it included 3 courses. Passed this one.
